Our Third Sector Commissioning Digital Conference examines how to build on the good practice that has emerged during the pandemic to improve partnership working between the statutory and third sector to enable the most effective delivery of public services during a crisis.
The pandemic has challenged commissioning bodies to offer an unprecedented level of flexibility and support to the VCSE sector to deliver services responding to the changing needs of citizens and communities. This increased collaboration between the pubic and voluntary sectors needs to be maintained and not seen as a short-term solution.
Public service resilience and flexibility will be needed more than ever as communities seek to recover from their trauma and potentially cope with another peak in the crisis later this year. And with the economy in crisis it is vital for commissioning bodies to use innovative models to ensure their financial resources are maximised to guarantee a social return on investment.
Attend this forum to hear experience and insights from commissioners and their VCSE partners on the front line delivering services, about creating new systems, structures and relationships that build on the best of what we have achieved during the pandemic and to shape a more positive future for when we emerge from the crisis.
